As the planet below became smaller and smaller, Little Leos shuttle ship made its getaway from the child slave planet. In order to escape detection, Little Leo had equipped his shuttle with a makeshift cloaking device, which changed the dimension of his vessel to prevent the planetary sensors from picking up its ascent. His heart pounding, Little Leo smiled widely in relief. He had done it! His plan to escape had succeeded. Now, all he had to do was to make it to the nearest Light platform to lay low for awhile.
It had all happened so fast Little Leo had been planning his escape for months but, when the time came to actually make his getaway, nothing was like he had planned. It had been just over four months ago that the hybrid slavers had come to his planet and stolen all the children. He never even had a chance to say good-bye to his mother and father. All his friends were taken but, since they arrived at the slave planet, Vorkos, he hadnt seen any of them around. He wondered if they had been taken to another planet, or if they were working underground in the mines.
All that was behind him now, as he entered open space and sat down to chart his course to any Light platform that he could make contact with. Little Leo was an average-sized boy with large green eyes and light brown hair. On his home planet, he had learned the ways of the Light. That involved using the power of his own spirit to help him in his daily life. He had learned how to use the infinite power of the Light to fight negativity, to heal his body and to improve his intelligence and creativity. Like many other Light children, Little Leo was a genius who had been trained to use his intelligence in the way that best suited him. What he loved most was his training as a spiritual warrior. He had learned to take on the most formidable opponents from the Dark side, but yearned for the opportunity to take them on in a real battle. He didnt mind memorizing all the vibrations of the universe, because it gave him an advantage over other warriors. Even though he thought that school was boring, by the age of ten he had already mastered the sciences of interstellar navigation and interdimensional travel.
Now Little Leo was all alone. That didnt bother him, because he had been trained to go within himself to be with his spirit. Inside his mind, Little Leo had created a world of absolute strength and power, where no negative force could penetrate. When he was in that state, no being could defeat him, no matter how big or how powerful. Little Leo knew that the Light was the most powerful force in the entire universe, so he used its power to create mental weapons that he could use to fight in battle against the Black Apes, the Red-eyed Dioniks or the Multi-headed Dragons. Little Leos spirit was known to be one of the oldest in the universe and, as Little Leo progressed, his spirit would tell him about all its accumulated knowledge. Little Leos spirit wanted to win back the universe from the powerful Dark side that had taken over just about everywhere. He had chosen his body, and Little Leo knew that he was to be the leader of a universal rebellion against the Dark side. But he didnt know how or when all that would happen. All he knew was that he was an excellent spiritual fighter, and that he wasnt afraid of any body or anything.
Soon he would join others from Light races, and Little Leo would convince them to form an alliance to fight against the Dark side. The first step was to safely arrive at the Light platform and warn them against the kind of attack that his planet had experienced. His navigation calculations were complete now, and Little Leo could finally rest while his mini-craft operated on automatic pilot. During his warrior training, Little Leo had learned how to go into a state of sleep that allowed him to remain alert at all times, so that no one could attack him physically or spiritually without his knowledge.
Just as Little Leo had entered his light sleep state, he had a vision. In his vision, he saw a huge warship carrying thousands of Dark warriors that were headed into the Light sector of the universe. The Light races were totally unprotected! Those of the Light never fought, because they were a gentle and peaceful people. What would happen if they were overtaken by Dark warriors, like the people of Little Leos planet? Little Leo knew that he must devise a way to bring the power of the Light in battle to the Light races, without breaking their policy of peaceful existence. The Dark side showed that it cared less for the rights of others. Its goal seemed to be to conquer as many races as it could. If they didnt change their ways, the Light races didnt stand a chance.
As Little Leo was thinking about where that Dark warship was headed, all of a sudden his spirit showed him another vision. This time he saw a terrible explosion on the Light platform where he was headed. After the flash, all he could see was darkness.
After he saw the second vision, Little Leo decided to ask for guidance from his spirit. He asked his spirit to tell him what he should do next. As always, his spirit would never give him the answer directly, but he gave him this: He still had to go to the Light platform, no matter what. Then Little Leos spirit gave him a signal that he would have to go into battle for real for the first time. Little Leo jumped to his feet and yelled: YEAH! The power of the Light always wins!
Then Little Leo directed his attention toward the vibration that his spirit was sending him. All of a sudden in his mind, Little Leo could see the vision of a being with a large body, big horns and glowing red eyes. With all his energy directed toward the alien, Little Leo created a big fireball of Light and sent it directly at the big Red-eye. Bullseye! shouted Little Leo, as he saw the ball of Light hit the alien in a bright flash. That was how he had been trained to fight spiritually, and he never doubted his ability.
The aliens spirit left its body as Little Leo surrounded it with pure white Light to suspend it in time and space. It wasnt going anywhere, and it was completely out of contact with its race. As soon as its spirit was suspended, the aliens body simply vanished, since aliens cant exist without a spirit.
After the first Red-eye attacked Little Leo, he knew that more would follow, so he prepared to go into battle at the higher level. He relaxed himself and directed his spirit to help him to fight. He knew that the Light was an infinite power source that could never be defeated, and he had invented ways to use the Light to fight against alien attackers. He soon found that his favorite way to fight was to surround a small group of Dark warriors at once, then to suspend them in time and space. As he went deeper and deeper into battle, he increased the number of Dark warriors that he surrounded with the Light. All they had to do to get free was to agree to come to the Light. Another way Little Leo liked to fight was to throw huge fireballs of Light. The Dark ones never knew what hit them! About an hour later, Little Leo had finished his battle.
Since Little Leo had just finished his first real battle against the Dark side, he felt even more confident than ever about his ability to succeed. Never would another Light race fall to the Dark side! Now Little Leo could show them how to fight without breaking the Universal Laws of the Light. Since the Light races respected free will, they minded their own business, but their peacefulness made them a target for takeover by the destructive Dark races. All that was going to change now. Little Leo had broken through the barriers of traditional Light behavior, and he was going to show the Light races how to use the Light properly to defend themselves.
As Little Leo traveled along, he was excited at the thought of telling all the Light races what they needed to do to fight against the Dark ones. Then he wondered how he could possibly teach them fast enough to avoid detection by the Dark ones. And how was he going to approach the Light planets that had already been conquered? These were all questions that were swimming around in Little Leos mind when, all of a sudden, the Light platform came into view.
