During his approach to the Light platform, Little Leo noticed that one whole section of the command center had been blasted away. This must have been what he’d seen in his vision. He decided to make his descent under cloak so that, if any Dark forces were present on the platform, he would be able to dock without being detected. Oddly, the space doors were open, and he realized that something was wrong. He took his craft off of automatic pilot and began to bring it in manually. The extent of the damage soon became apparent. There had been a struggle, but the Light forces on the platform were obviously no match for the Dark warriors who had landed.
Little Leo wondered if anyone had resisted. That would be unusual for those of the Light, for they generally were not known to put up a fight. That had always disturbed Little Leo, for he wondered how so intelligent and powerful people could just allow Dark warriors to conquer them. After what he’d seen on his home planet and what he saw now, Little Leo was convinced that he must bring a change to the Light ways in the universe. Just before he entered the space doors, Little Leo quietly closed his eyes and opened his senses to take a reading of the vibrations on the platform to find out if anyone was still present. He sensed a very faint Light vibration and knew that whoever was left behind was friendly.
Upon his landing on the Light platform, Little Leo closed the space doors and allowed the pressurization of the chamber. He knew already that the command center would be impossible to enter, due to the huge hole he’d seen there, so he decided to make a search of all the other areas of the platform that remained undamaged. The space platform was built in a circular style, so that all the corridors ran along the outside of the central command center. Little Leo began checking all the corridors on the first level, but found no one. When he began his sweep of the second level, Little Leo sensed that someone was watching him. He felt that, whoever it was, they were suspicious of his presence there. After a little while, Little Leo played a trick on his observer. He pretended to go around a corner when, in reality, he slipped back the way he had come a little way. He stayed very quiet, until he saw his pursuer. He wasn’t surprised to first see the Light spirit of the person that had been watching him. Then he saw who it was.
The sole survivor of the takeover of the Light platform was a young girl, not much older than eight or nine years old. She was slender, bright-eyed and had long blonde hair. Little Leo called out to her: “You don’t have to worry about me – I’m on your side! You can come out now!” As he said this, the small girl darted into the nearest corridor, where she stood, breathless and scared.
Little Leo realized that she had probably just been through some bad times, so he decided to take it easy on her. “Hey, I won’t bite! I’m of the Light, too! What happened here? Are you all right? Come out here where I can see you, please!” Little Leo had stopped in the corridor, and was expecting the young girl to come out right away. But, she must have been really afraid, because she took several minutes to finally make her way over to Little Leo.
“Who are you?” she asked. “Why did you come here? Can’t you see that everyone’s gone? I’m the only one left!” Her eyes filled with tears, but the young girl didn’t start to cry. She was pretty brave, thought Little Leo. After what she’d been through, she was holding up very well.
Little Leo placed his hand on hers and asked: “What’s your vibration? Mine’s Leo. I’m of the Light, too, as you can see.”
The little girl looked relieved and smiled a bit as she said: “I’m Glo, and I’m of the Light.” Then she breathed in deeply as she added: “The hybrid slavers came and took everyone away. Everyone! I’ve been hiding ever since, because I was afraid they’d come back to get me.”
Little Leo reassured her by saying: “Well, you’re not alone now. We’ll get out of here and find another Light platform where we can find shelter. Don’t worry about the hybrid slavers or the dark warriors. I’m a trained spiritual warrior, and I’ve just won a huge battle.” He didn’t dare tell her that it was his first battle ever. He asked, “So what can you do?”
“Well…” Glo hesitated for a moment, then said: “My spirit was one of the best communicators in the universe. I was still in training as a communicator, when the hybrid slavers came. I should have sensed them. I feel so awful!”
“Don’t blame yourself,” exclaimed Little Leo. “They have ways to block their vibrations and thoughts. You were able to minimize your vibration to hide when the hybrid slavers came and when I took a reading upon landing here. That’s pretty good for a beginner. You’ll be able to finish your training when we get to the next Light platform. Just forgive yourself and look forward toward a prosperous future! He smiled to reassure her. As she forgave herself, he could see the Light move through her as she brightened up.
Then Little Leo said: “So, you’re the only person here?” She nodded yes. Little Leo grabbed her arm and said: “Then let’s get out of here. Where’s the food supplies? We’re going to need something to eat on our journey!” Then he had an idea. “Glo, are there any space vessels here, something that would be faster and more comfortable than my little shuttle craft?”
Glo’s face lit up as she almost shouted: “Yes! There’s a vessel that was waiting for emergency repairs in the lower cargo deck. Do you know anything about dimensional conversion science? One day while I was hanging around in there, watching the technicians, I heard one of the repair specialists say that the converter wasn’t functioning properly.”
Little Leo grinned at her and remarked: “Glo, I think we’ve got ourselves a new ride. I’ve just finished schooling in dimensional travel and conversion. I thought it might come in handy one day!”
As the two hurried off together toward the lower level of the space platform, they both felt better that they had met. Who knows how much they’d need each other for the next segment of their journey? In his mind Little Leo was already piecing together the next few days of space travel. With the right vessel, they’d be cruising into another Light platform in no time. There they’d both be able to expand on their training and prepare to take on any Dark warriors or hybrid slavers that approached. Little Leo couldn’t wait to show the Light elders on the platform how he could fight and win against the Dark ones. He knew that it would take some convincing, because the Light races had been passive for so long. Little Leo firmly believed that he would succeed, because his spirit had told him that he would lead the Light races into battle one day.
When Little Leo and Glo arrived at the cargo bay, the little girl sprinted over to a control panel and punched in an access code. She smiled: “I always watched which numbers they punched in, because they were always changing the codes.”
Instantly, a large panel slid open and revealed a state-of-the-art mini-cruiser. Little Leo exclaimed: “Wow! Are we ever going to move in this beauty! He opened the access door and walked around. Then he looked at the dimensional converter. He thought to himself that it was going to take some special coaching from his higher self and spirit to figure out how to fix it, because he had never seen a converter system like it.
Little Leo asked Glo to start packing some supplies for their journey while he worked on the repairs to the converter. He said to himself: “Okay, spirit and higher self: Help me through this repair.” Then he put himself into a higher dimension where his ability to receive higher-level information was enhanced.
In the meantime, Glo had left with a carrier cart to get her stuff from her living quarters on the third level of the space platform. As she gathered a few personal things from her room, she became a bit sad. All her life, she had lived on this platform, and she didn’t know what to expect outside of that security. Then she remembered what her teacher had said: “Fear is negative and you will attract negativity unless you refuse it.” She took a deep breath and said out loud: “No one can defeat me, because no one can defeat the Light!” As soon as she said it, Glo felt the Light move through her and fill her with an energy that made her almost float around her room. She was ready for whatever was about to happen, and she no longer felt sad, afraid or lonely. She had herself, her spirit and her higher self, and that was all that she needed. Now she knew what her Light teachers had told her about the power of the Light. Before, when everyone and everything was Light around her, she took the Light for granted. Now that she was almost alone, she knew that the Light was there to help her, no matter what!
Soon, Glo was finished packing her things into the mini-cruiser and was moving the carrier cart along the corridor toward the galley on the second level. She was thinking all the while about what had happened on the day that the hybrid slavers landed. Everyone had been moving in and out of the galley while they took their turns at having breakfast. It had started out to be a pretty normal day, but it had ended as a nightmare for her and everyone that had been taken away. She wondered how they were doing and how her parents were. Just then Glo saw a bright flash of Light. It was her spirit, calling her to ask her to speak to it. Glo made herself very quiet and relaxed her body. She asked her spirit what it wanted. Her spirit whispered to her in her mind: “You must not think about the negative things that have happened in the past. If you do, you will attract negative energy, and then the Dark ones can sense you more easily. Keep your thoughts positive and without emotion, which is also negative. You are strong and you will become even stronger, as you learn more about the Universal Laws of the Light.”
Glo thanked her spirit and continued to pack the groceries and other supplies needed for a lengthy space journey. Who knows how long she and Little Leo would be traveling before they reached another Light platform that hadn’t been invaded? Glo kept her mind on what she was doing and stopped thinking about what had happened to her home. Now she was going to find a new home, with the help of Little Leo, a boy that she believed was very special. In fact, she sensed that her power of psychic communication was going to become very strong with a boy whose spirit was one of the strongest in the universe. How did she know that, she wondered, all of a sudden? Then, she grinned as her spirit flashed at her in response.
Glo was feeling very happy as she packed the last load of supplies aboard the mini-cruiser. She checked in on Little Leo to see if he had figured out how to repair the dimensional converter on the mini-cruiser.
Little Leo popped his head out of the housing for the converter and said: “Well, Glo, are you ready to blast out of here? We’re all set now for dimensional travel in this little beauty!” Glo nodded with a grin. She was ready to leave the only place she had ever known, and she wasn’t the least bit afraid!
