Little Leo couldn’t believe his eyes! All his life he had heard about the Supreme Beings, the ape-like aliens, of the universe. Now there was one right in front of him. Little Leo was excited, but he was also ready for this long awaited meeting.
“How’re you doing?” he asked the ape-like being that seemed to be rather young, even though he was about twice his size. The ape boy had whitish colored fur, all the way from his head to his feet. His eyes were very pale gray and shone with a beautiful glow. He was quite handsome, thought Little Leo, and there was something very familiar about him.
The ape boy continued to look at Little Leo with surprise. Then he stretched his body upward, making him appear even taller, and let out a loud growling howl. He grinned, and started talking in his own language.
Little Leo started to laugh, then he put up his hand and said mentally: “Sorry, I don’t understand you. Let’s communicate at the higher level, so that we can both understand each other. Soon we’ll learn to talk out loud to each other, O.K.?”
The big ape boy grinned and sent Little Leo a telepathic message: “I know who you are. You’re the one who’s going to bring all the races together in peace with the Light. I have seen you in the future, and many from my race have awaited your coming with anticipation. I decided that I would seek you out. I have transported myself to every Light planet and space platform that I could find to look for you. So many have been invaded by the Dark slavers, including this one. When I detected your presence at this platform, I came here to observe you. Your spirit shines with a Light greater than any I’ve ever seen. That’s how I knew it was you. By the way, my name’s Peshavor.”
Little Leo smiled. “Pleased to meet you, Peshavor,” he said mentally. I’m Little Leo and this is Glo.” He motioned for Glo to come closer. Glo looked at the white ape boy with awe. She had never dreamed of seeing an ape-like alien, although she had heard stories of some Light ones before.
“Pleased to meet you!” said Glo mentally to Peshavor. “What race are you from?”
Peshavor answered: “I am from Little Leo’s race. His spirit left his ape-like body to join the other human-like races in this lifetime. He decided to do this in order to start his spiritual battle against the Dark forces of the universe. If he had remained in his Nalesh form as a Supreme Being, the battle could never take place, because the Dark forces fear the Nalesh and stay away from them. The Nalesh are Light, and a Light Nalesh is feared by all the Dark ape races and their descendents.”
Little Leo said: “You know more about me than I do, Peshavor. Can you tell me where to find the next Light platform or planet that hasn’t been invaded by the Dark slavers?”
Peshavor replied: “Since we are all of the Light, we can easily understand each other. Since your spirit was housed in the body of one of the most important Nalesh in the universe, I should be asking you for advice. However, I know that you are still adjusting to your young physical form. So, I can help to guide you, but I cannot give you all the answers. As a Light being, you must work to gain power and spiritual knowledge.”
Little Leo smiled and said: “I am well schooled in the ways of the Light, and I know that I can only ask. The answers will be provided either by my spirit or through my efforts at the physical level. Anyway, can you tell me if there are any Light platforms or planets near here? I only knew of this one and the one where I found Glo, and they’ve both been invaded by the Dark slavers.”
“Well, I am able to guide you to a Light planet, as long as you are involved with the search,” said Peshavor. I would like to serve as your teacher, as well. I can teach you even more about the art of dimensional travel than you learned in your studies. I can teach you both the rhythm of the universe, or the universal vibrations, and how to interpret them. In this way, you’ll be able to communicate with others over vast distances.
“That’s good enough for me,” said Little Leo, as he signaled for Glo and their new friend to follow. “Let’s go!”
So the three new Light friends made their way back to the mini-cruiser, where the big Nalesh boy stood for a moment to look. He said “I have never traveled in such a craft, as my race is able to travel interdimensionally in our bodies.” He sighed. “But, if I want to be a part of your battle against the Dark forces, I will have to grow used to it!”
The trio climbed on board the mini-cruiser and Little Leo and Glo showed Peshavor around. Then they stopped to talk at the command station.
Little Leo asked Peshavor: “What’s it like on your planet? Even though my spirit comes from there, I can’t remember what it’s like.”
Peshavor grinned a big toothy grin. “On our planet there is complete harmony. Everyone is Light and everyone is happy. Although there are millions of beings there, no one ever fights or has ill feelings toward another. Everyone respects each other’s free will and choice and no one ever tries to hurt another. Each person is equal to the other, and no one is any better off than anyone else. Everyone is truly happy. Ever since our people accepted the Light, it has been this way.”
“Wow!” exclaimed Little Leo. “That sounds like a perfect place! Our Light planet was similar to that, but we didn’t know so many tricks as you know. I guess we weren’t quite so advanced as the Nalesh.”
“This is true,” said Peshavor. “Your race and Glo’s race are younger in terms of the Light. The spirits of the people of your planet are not as old as the spirits of the Nalesh. That is why you went to be born into your little human-like body. You will initiate the changes that are necessary for your human-like race to become strong and able to defeat the Dark ones who now take your people as slaves and producers of offspring.”
“What about my race?” asked Little Glo. “My people were quite happy. Why did the Light permit the Dark slavers to take my people away?”
Peshavor replied: “The Light is a remarkable force. It is the single most powerful force in the universe, but the knowledge of how to use the Light has been lost over time. Even the races whose spirits remain in the Light have lost knowledge. The Darkness grows more and more widespread, and those who leave their bodies through death are reborn with less and less knowledge. We Nalesh remain in our bodies without dying, so that we do not lose knowledge and power. My body remains this young, because I desire to remain at this age, but my body is really over a million years old.”
“Wowee!” yelled Little Leo. “That’s incredible! How old was my Nalesh body before I decided to die so that I could enter this form?”
“Well, young one, your body remains on our home planet, suspended in time and space, awaiting your return. You have created this small body, so that you can bring the power of the Light to your present race and those like it. Unlike the Nalesh race, your human-like race is not governed by the old ways of the Light, where no one will ever raise a hand against another. Our ways are very old in the perfect peace of the Light, but that does not work for the younger Light races, because now the populations of entire planets are being whisked away in planet platforms by the Dark slavers.”
“How can we stop it? asked Glo. “There’s only three of us and so many of them.”
“Do not fear, Bright Glo,” Peshavor said. “We are indeed only three, but our combined strength is of the Light, and the Light cannot be defeated. Be assured.”
Glo smiled widely. “I like that name, Peshavor. You’re neat!”
Little Leo laughed and said to Peshavor: “You know, you’re right. Just this morning I fought my first spiritual battle, and I won! I could hardly believe how simple it was. Is this the first time that a Light being has fought the Dark ones?”
“Oh, Little One,” exclaimed Peshavor, “You created such a stir in the rhythm of the universe that every ancient being became aware of your presence. Your actions have caused the most excitement among the Light races of any before. Before you created your body, you told everyone that you would do something to stop the Darkness from spreading, and you have shown your power already, in such a small form.”
“Shucks, it was nothing,” shrugged Little Leo with a big grin. “I always wanted to try out my ideas about fighting with the Light. My spirit guided me, and I was able to easily do exactly what I needed to do to defeat those nasty Dark creeps.”
“Can I learn to fight them, too?” asked Bright Glo.
Peshavor replied, “You will learn as you are able. You must adjust your vibration somewhat in order to use the Light in such a manner. As Little Leo and I learn from each other, we will teach you.”
“Thank you. I’ll do whatever I have to do to learn,” said Bright Glo.
“Well, I guess we’d better get going out of here,” said Little Leo. “We have to find some Light beings before the Dark slavers arrive to take them away.”
“Indeed! Let us be on our way!” said Peshavor in a strong loud voice. “The Light will prevail!”
Little Leo prepared the mini-cruiser for manual operation. They would travel outside of the interdimensional realm until they could determine the exact location of the next Light platform or planet. They couldn’t use the dimensional converter until they knew the grid coordinates of their destination, because they could end up in some territory that was full of Dark forces. All three Light Kids sat back in their seats as the mini-cruiser whirred out of the space dock.
