As Peshavor and Little Leo arrived in the control room of the mini-cruiser, they found Glo still playing with her transformation ball. The two boys sat down beside Glo in the control room chairs.
“So what’s happening? Did you find anything?” she asked, as she stood up.
Little Leo and Peshavor looked at each other. Peshavor spoke first. “We know where the Dark slavers are heading. That’s all I can say for now.”
Bright Glo turned to Little Leo and asked, “Did you see any Light people over there? What was it like?”
Little Leo spoke softly to Glo, “There is a very Dark force at work, and it is much stronger than I ever imagined. It will take all my strength to be able to stand up to them, but I will! We’ll help all the Light people who have been enslaved, and we’ll stop it from ever happening again.”
“That’s what I want to do, too!” shouted Glo. “Tell me what the Dark slavers are like!”
Little Leo described the Dionik slavers, the size of their ship and all the dragons that protected it. He wanted Glo to help them, because her skills as a psychic communicator would come in handy. Besides she, like him, had lost her family to the Dark slavers. Any chance to find them would be a big chance. When possible, Little Leo wanted to free all the Light children that had been taken as slaves.
Peshavor motioned to Little Leo that it was time to go to work. He said, “I will place a cloak of Light on the mini-cruiser that will protect it from detection until our return.”
Peshavor stood up and drew a large circle in the air. As he drew it, a bright shining Light like a halo appeared and started moving outward until it went outside the ship. Glo ran to look outside through a window opening. She could see the circle of Light moving around the mini-cruiser, until it completely surrounded them.
“Wow!” she yelled. “It’s so beautiful!”
Peshavor smiled and explained, “We have some very important work to do, and we must protect ourselves by bringing in the Light at all times. There is infinite power in the Light, and you Light kids and I are going to harness it and put it to use. The Light always provides for those who ask for its help. Now we will use the Light to help other Light beings who have been captured by the Dark side. The Light beings of the universe have not been willing to use the Light to its utmost as protection. Instead, they have become a target for the Dark forces that saw the Light side’s peaceful ways as weakness. Now we must stand up and show what the Light can really do!”
“Yes!” exclaimed Little Leo, as he jumped up in the air. “I’ve always known that I would be helping the Light people, but I never knew how it would come about. When I saw the number of Dark slavers, I must say that I was shocked. But I’m not afraid of them, because I know the power of the Light can defeat them. Do you know anything about those nasty flying lizards dragons, like how we can get rid of them?”
Peshavor growled a low growl. “We will take care of them soon enough. Did you know that dragons cannot bear to be touched by the Light? Glo, come here. You will come with us this time. Now I will teach you and Little Leo how to make a Light circle that will lasso the dragons.”
Little Leo chuckled. “Good. We need to learn everything we need to know to win this battle!”
Glo looked at both of them in amazement. “Whatever I have to do, I’ll do it. I’m sick of those creepy Dark slavers. Who do they think they are?”
Little Leo smiled at her and said: “I’m glad you’re coming with us this time. I have to do some things that I don’t know how to do yet, either. But I know that I have a good ally right here!” He put his hand on Peshavor’s arm, because he couldn’t reach his shoulder.
Peshavor began to show the Light Kids how to create a lasso of Light from a spark of Light that they created in their hands. Little Leo made a lasso on his first try, and it didn’t take long before Glo could do it.
Peshavor grinned at his friends and said, “Little Leo, you should ask your spirit for help now. I am only here as a trainer for the Light Nalesh races. Your spirit is from our race, so our knowledge is yours. All you have to do is allow the knowledge from your spirit to reach you.”
Little Leo nodded to Peshavor, and said, “Just give me a few minutes to come up with a plan.” As he said this, his spirit flashed its Light brightly.
Little Leo closed his eyes and called to his spirit to ask it what he should do. Little Leo’s spirit arrived in a flash of pure white Light that was so bright that the Light boy moved his head back in surprise. With a big smile on his face, he turned his thoughts inward to speak to his spirit.
Little Leo’s spirit spoke to him more quickly than ever before, but it was as though Little Leo knew what his spirit was going to say before it said it. Little Leo listened as his spirit told him that he should be prepared for a great spiritual and physical battle. Along the way, Little Leo’s spirit would guide him. Within a few seconds Little Leo opened his eyes.
“Guess what, kids?” he exclaimed to Peshavor and Glo. “We can go into battle right away, but we must do it at the spiritual and physical levels at the same time. My spirit will tell me more as we need it!”
Glo looked at Little Leo, with her hands up. “What do you mean? We don’t have any army or forces to fight with.”
Little Leo chuckled. “Don’t think about it, Glo. We have the infinite power of the Light, so we can’t be defeated. Besides, Peshavor will be with us. Right, Peshy?”
Peshavor opened his mouth wide. For the first time, Little Leo and Glo saw him flash a set of perfect white teeth. They were very large white teeth, in fact.
“We are ready, indeed,” declared the large white ape boy. “The Enlightenment begins now. Little Leo is our leader, and his spirit will guide him.”
Little Leo grinned widely and shouted, “Let’s get started! Peshavor open one of your Light portals. We’re going back to the Dark slavers’ vessel!”
Peshavor spoke briefly, “We will reach the same vibration to prevent detection. We will speak mentally when we need to. Glo, just follow what Little Leo and I do. And remember, no fear or emotion, so we remain protected by the Lightstream that makes up the portal.”
Little Leo and Glo both said, “Okay!” at the same time. Then Peshavor made a spark of Light in front of him, and it became brighter and brighter until the mouth of the Light vortex opened.
“After you, Little Leo,” said Peshavor as he moved aside. Little Leo walked up to the mouth of the vortex and stepped inside. Glo and Peshavor followed, and the three Light kids were swept into the Lightstream.
